“To us, it’s hair, to women battling cancer, it’s hope!”  That statement resonated with Dr. Karen Heaney.  She wanted to do her part to support women battling cancer.  “One of my friends was diagnosed with cancer this spring. She is rocking the bald look, but not everyone can find the strength and confidence she has during such a trying time, so I wanted to help give a little confidence to a woman who was struggling.”

Since 2006, Pantene and the American Cancer Society have partnered to make a difference in the lives of women fighting cancer.  The program invites women to share their hair with women who have lost theirs.  The American Cancer Society uses the locks of hair to make and distribute wigs to women experiencing hair loss due to cancer.

Thank you, Dr. Heaney, for supporting this great cause!
