Dr. Glenn Corbin has been appointed to the Optometric Advisory Board for MacuLogix, Inc. This distinguished honor was awarded to 7 optometric industry leaders. They were appointed to provide strategic input on the AdaptDx® and practical guidelines for Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD). They will serve as MacuLogix ambassadors at industry events and in the media.

Wyomissing Optometric Center received the first AdaptDx unit off the assembly line in the U.S. The AdaptDx is a  diagnostic technology that aids us in the early diagnosis of Age-related Macular Degeneration for at-risk patients. This diagnostic technology is especially helpful for patients who have no other clinical signs of Age-related Macular Degeneration. If there is a family history of Age-related Macular Degeneration this advanced diagnostic technology is invaluable. Why guess, when we can know!  Early detection is key, especially in Age-related Macular Degeneration.
